Regarding the Advance Design Adjustment and Revalving Manual

Detail Advance Design Racing Strut - Revalving Pistons & ShimsThe Advance Design rebuild page has been taken off this web site, it turns out nobody has needed it.  At first I thought that this would help our current customers when they were rebuilding their struts, but as it turns out, very few have needed to be rebuilt.  Some shocks and struts have been revalved in the search for speed, but we have done very well with having our adjustments used to compensate for conditions and situations.  Our Advance Design shocks and struts now come with a technical manual for helping you learn how and when to adjust double-adjustable shocks, and sometimes more importantly, when to leave them alone.   Of course we cannot discuss specifics on the internet, but our sales have been excellent, and one of the best signs that we are headed in the right direction is that we have a lot of referral business, which is highly unusual in the competitive world of racing. Racers just don't like to talk about their speed secrets.  Our struts were used by Vic Sias and Andy Craig to win the SCCA Solo II National Championship in 1998, with their Datsun 240Z beating all the Corvettes for the first time in history.  Chris Albin dominated the American Road Race Championship in 1998 in his ITB Golf and has been very impressive everywhere else. Our shocks also had an excellent showing at the 1998 SCCA Road Race Championships in Grant Carter's T1 Firebird, who gave the BMW M3's a run for the money and could have won except for one of those rules disagreements regarding GM engine factory spec vs. SCCA engine factory spec. Advance Design shocks and struts have won SCCA National events in A/S, T1 and E/P, and have won many SCCA regionals and BMW club events.
